About Dr. Sibel

Dr. Roman A. Sibel was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Premedicine from The Pennsylvania State University in 1995. Dr. Sibel then received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 2000 (now Drexel University School of Medicine). His Surgical Internship and Orthopaedic Residency were completed at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. During this time he participated in the care of the university's athletic teams, including the championship Ohio State Buckeye football team.

Subsequently Dr. Sibel completed his subspecialty fellowship training at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, consistently ranked by the U.S. News and World Report as the number 2 orthopaedic hospital in the nation*. It was here he had the pleasure of working with professional athletes of the New York Giants and Knicks, as well as the New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.

Dr. Sibel's area of expertise includes athletic injuries as well as traumatic and acquired deformity of the foot and ankle. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Sibel has been in private practice in Las Vegas and Henderson since September 2006.
